Rodez (Occitan: Rodés) is a city and commune in southern France, in the Aveyron département.
SightsRodez has been an episcopal city since the 4th century, featuring an impressive 80 metre tall cathedral. One of its features is a completely closed western wall, which was part of the city's defence wall.
