Austin is the best place to live. According to a specialized magazine, Austin was ranked number one in the list about the best places to live. Not only a great place to be but also an environmentally friendly city because it was named the “Greenest City in America”. These two awards are already eye-catching for the tourists but there was also a recent survey about the citizens of a city and Austin was in the top three. You can be sure that you will be welcomed anywhere in the city.
Its climate is also optimal for those who want to spend even their winter holidays in a warm place. The winter average temperatures vary between 4 and 18 °C. Due to the humid subtropical climate, the winters are this mild and the summers are hot. From June to August the highest temperatures are over 30 °C. In March during a four-day event, many of the venues are filled with music fans listening to the 1,400 performers. The 6th Street is heart of the city and on Halloween, Fat Tuesday and New Year’s Eve because of the thousand of celebrators becomes one-way pedestrian road.
