Easton is the third most populous and the easternmost city of the Lehigh Valley. The city is regionally broken into four sections that are the Historic Downtown lying to the north of River Lehigh: The West Ward lying between sixth to fifteenth street, The South side to the south of the River Lehigh and the College Hill that houses the Lafayette College. It was the transportation hub for Steel in the early eighteenth century. Being located at the South Pennsylvanian region, Easton has traits of German culture in its civilization.

It was the home to produce consumer products like Dixie cups and many others. Nowadays, the city is well known due to its massive crayons production.
