The country has become a very popular travel destination in the last couple of years because of multiple reasons. The cultural attractions in Thailand are stunning, of course, but the people are extremely friendly, the culture charming and – what is a huge appeal – it is a cheap destination.

Partly because of this, lately Thailand is becoming a well known family friendly holiday destination as well. More and more resorts and venues are specializing in hosting and entertaining families, as you will see in the video. It’s little wonder that the Maldives is a dream destination for honeymooners to start their lives together; the secluded islands are far from the stress of the world back home, and offer some of the most pristine natural beauty and luxurious resorts in the world.

However, an increasing number of holidaymakers are discovering that this tropical archipelago is suitable for much more than just romantic breaks, as increasing numbers of families, single people and non-honeymooning couples choose to visit the islands.

This relatively young country that gained independence only in the 20th century and the rules of the country formally still is Queen Elisabeth II of the united Kingdom. A large part of the 33 million inhabitants are immigrants; this makes the culture of Canada a very diversed one.
