MS Zaandam will start its South America journey from Valparaiso in Chile. The ship will spend its first day at sea and then visit Puerto Montt and Puerto Chacabuco in Chile. On the next three days it will cross the Chilean Fjords, Canal Sarmiento and the Strait of Magellan. Next MS Zaandam will stop at Punta Arenas in Chile, cross the Cockburn Channel, the the Beagle Channel and Glacier Alley before it arrives to Ushuaia in Argentina.

Then the ship will cruise Cape Horn and the Stanley, Falkland and Malvina Islands. After two more days at sea you arrive to Montevideo in Uruguay before it stops for a full day at port in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Note that the cruise will start from Valparaiso and disembark in Buenos Aires, so it is not round-trip.
