October is the month of autumn foliage watching, Thanksgiving Day, Halloween, but for those who like cruise, it is more than that: it is National Cruise Vacation Month? Why? Because this month you can choose among some of the most jaw-dropping cruise deals of the year. Not only will you be able to take advantage of some great rates, but you will also receive free upgrades, more onboard credit than ever before. Cruise month does not mean that you have to travel in October, but simply that you can book your cruise for a great price, and travel this year, or the next. To give you a few examples, you can book a cruise with the Royal Caribbean line and get up to $200 onboard credit, or take advantage of Celebrity Cruises’ offer, which can land you with a 3-day cruise for only $169, and give you up to $150 onboard credit. Norwegian Cruise Line’s Nickelodeon All Access Cruise will b a delight for the whole family (just tell your kids that they can have breakfast with Sponge Bob and they won’t need any convincing to go). New deals can appear throughout the month, so don’t forget to check Travelocity’s deal list for any exciting updates!
@Janiece Knutson: You should check Metafares.com’s cruise search. Enter your search details and choose some of the providers through the checkboxes and hit search selected.
I ran a quick search for you and the best cruise I found was at Cheaptickets. It’s a 7 Night Western Carribean cruise from Norwegian Cruise Line and prices start from $429 per person (for Interior cabins). The ship’s name is Norwegian Spirit and it departs from New Orleans. It has got several stops in ports from Costa Maya to Cozumel.
Hope this helped. Good luck!
